What can Restylane Kysse improve?

Depending on your assessment, treatment may help:

Lip filler cannot guarantee perfect symmetry. Natural lips, like all facial features, have normal differences between the two sides.

Restylane Kysse is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler formulated specifically for the lips. It contains lidocaine to help reduce discomfort during injection.

What happens during treatment?

1. Facial and lip assessment

Dr. Leigh studies your natural lip shape, profile, proportions, movement, and existing asymmetries. We also discuss the result you want and whether it is realistic for your anatomy.

2. Personalized treatment planning

We decide where support or volume may be appropriate. The amount used is based on your features and treatment goals, not on a trend or a predetermined lip shape.

3. Careful injection

Restylane Kysse is placed using techniques selected for your anatomy. We correct thoughtfully and avoid deliberate overfilling.

4. Aftercare and review

We explain what to expect while your lips settle and when to return for reassessment. Additional filler is only considered after the initial swelling has resolved.

Will my lips look natural?

That is always our intention.

We do not follow one ideal lip ratio or force every patient into the same shape. Some patients need definition, some need volume, and others benefit most from a very small adjustment.

A natural result begins with respecting the lips you already have.

When will I see the final result?

Your lips will look fuller immediately, but the first appearance includes swelling and should not be treated as the final result.

Allow the swelling, tenderness, and bruising to settle before judging your lip shape. We normally reassess the result only after the initial healing period.

Is the treatment painful?

You may feel pressure, pinching, or tenderness during injection.

Restylane Kysse contains lidocaine to help reduce treatment discomfort. We may also use additional comfort measures when medically appropriate.

Is there downtime?

Swelling is expected after lip filler. Other temporary reactions may include:

• Tenderness or pain

• Bruising

• Redness

• Firmness

• Small lumps or bumps

• Temporary unevenness caused by swelling

• Itching or altered sensation

Most reactions are mild to moderate and settle within several days to two weeks. Some reactions can last longer.

Plan your treatment well before an important event rather than immediately before it.
