The lines beside your eyes are often evidence of a life filled with smiles. Treating them should never take the warmth out of your expression.
Crow’s Feet treatment at Adarna is for patients who want the eye area to look softer and more rested while preserving the personality in their smile. The goal is not to erase every line or make the eyes look still. It is to refine the creasing that has become more noticeable without changing what makes your expression yours.
What is Crow’s Feet treatment?
Crow’s feet are the fine lines that appear at the outer corners of the eyes, particularly when smiling or squinting. They develop through repeated contraction of the orbicularis oculi muscles, together with natural changes in skin elasticity and sun exposure.
Dr. Leigh carefully places botulinum toxin type A into selected areas around the outer eyes to temporarily reduce excessive muscle contraction. As the movement softens, dynamic lines may appear smoother and less deeply folded.
The treatment cannot remove under-eye bags, dark circles, hollowing, loose skin, or every line visible while the face is at rest. These concerns may require a different approach.
Crow’s Feet treatment may be suitable if you:
- Notice prominent lines beside your eyes when smiling or squinting
- Feel that the eye area looks more tired than you feel
- Want subtle softening without losing natural expression
- Prefer a temporary, non-surgical treatment
- Understand that deeply etched lines may soften without disappearing completely
- Are comfortable returning for maintenance when appropriate
Why does Dr. Leigh’s skill matter?
Botulinum toxin is only one part of the result. The difference between softly refreshed eyes and an expression that looks frozen or unbalanced lies in the assessment, placement, and restraint of the doctor performing the treatment.
The muscles around the eyes interact closely with the eyebrows, eyelids, and cheeks. Dr. Leigh studies your natural smile, brow position, eyelid closure, muscle strength, and existing asymmetries before deciding where—and where not—to inject.
The most natural result depends just as much on knowing when to stop as it does on knowing where to treat.
When will I see the result?
Reduced muscle activity may begin within several days, but the treatment should be allowed approximately two weeks to settle.
The eye area may gradually look smoother during expression while still allowing you to smile naturally. Results vary according to muscle strength, skin quality, line depth, the botulinum toxin product used, and individual response.
Will my smile look frozen or unnatural?
The intention is to soften excessive folding—not remove every movement around the eyes.
Because the muscles surrounding the eyes contribute to smiling, blinking, and facial balance, precise placement is essential. Dr. Leigh assesses how your eyes, cheeks, and eyebrows move together before determining the treatment pattern.
Will it improve lines that are visible at rest?
It may soften them, but static lines are influenced by more than muscle movement. Skin quality, collagen loss, sun exposure, and the depth of the crease also affect how visible they remain.
Botulinum toxin works best on lines created or deepened by facial movement. Dr. Leigh will explain whether another skin treatment may be more appropriate for lines that remain deeply visible at rest.
Is there downtime?
Most patients can return to ordinary activities after treatment. Temporary redness, tenderness, small raised bumps, headache, or bruising may occur around the injection points. The most beautiful Crow’s Feet result
The most beautiful result does not remove the evidence that you smile. It simply helps your eyes look as rested and composed as you want to feel.
