Microbotox is Adarna’s doctor-led skin-refining treatment for patients who want subtle improvement in fine lines, visible pores, oiliness, and overall skin texture without the noticeably restricted movement associated with more intensive wrinkle-relaxing treatments. The goal is not a frozen face. It is skin that looks quietly refreshed, with movement that still feels natural.
What is Microbotox?
Microbotox uses many tiny, superficial injections of botulinum toxin type A placed within the skin rather than relying only on conventional injections into the facial muscles. This technique may help reduce excessive oil production and soften the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores, and uneven texture. Because the treatment is superficial and carefully distributed, the result is intended to be delicate rather than dramatically movement-restricting. Microbotox cannot permanently close pores, erase acne scars, replace lost facial volume, or provide the lifting effect of surgery or an energy-based tightening treatment.
Microbotox may be suitable if you:
-
Want your skin to look smoother and more refined without an obvious change in your appearance
-
Are concerned about visible pores or excessive facial oiliness
-
Have delicate surface lines that remain visible even when your face is relaxed
-
Prefer a subtle, natural-looking result with facial expression preserved
-
Understand that Microbotox improves the appearance of the skin temporarily and does not permanently change its structure
When will I see the result?
Changes may begin to appear within several days, but the treatment should be allowed approximately two weeks to settle. Improvements in oiliness, pore visibility, and skin texture may develop more gradually, with some studies observing the most noticeable change at around four weeks. Results vary according to your skin, the areas treated, the botulinum toxin product used, and your individual response.
Will it permanently shrink my pores?
No treatment can permanently open or close a pore. Microbotox may temporarily reduce oil production and make pores appear less prominent, but the result differs between patients and the supporting clinical evidence is still developing. Pore visibility may also be influenced by genetics, acne, sun damage, skin laxity, and sebaceous activity. Your Adarna doctor will assess whether Microbotox is appropriate or whether another skin treatment would better address the cause.
How long does the result last?
Results are temporary and commonly soften over approximately three to four months, although duration varies. Maintenance should be based on reassessment rather than an automatic schedule. Adarna will consider your skin response, facial movement, treatment area, and the manufacturer’s minimum retreatment guidance for the exact botulinum toxin product used.
Is there downtime?
Tiny raised bumps, redness, tenderness, or a light stinging sensation may be visible immediately after treatment and usually settle. Small bruises can also occur. Most patients can return to ordinary activities, but the skin may not look completely untouched immediately after the procedure.
The most beautiful Microbotox result
The most beautiful Microbotox result is not the one people can identify. It is the moment someone notices that your skin looks smoother, fresher, and more composed—but cannot quite tell what you changed.
