Rejuran S is Adarna’s doctor-led, targeted polynucleotide treatment for selected depressed acne scars and other indented scars. It is intended for patients who want gradual textural improvement—not temporary camouflage or a promise of perfectly smooth skin.
What is Rejuran S?
Rejuran S contains a highly purified 2% polynucleotide gel with a thicker consistency developed for focused placement in depressed or sunken scars.
It is not a conventional volumizing filler and should not be expected to permanently fill every indentation. Instead, it is used to support gradual improvement in the quality and appearance of appropriately selected scar tissue.

Will it work for every acne scar?
No. Ice-pick, boxcar, rolling, and tethered scars behave differently.
Tethered scars may require subcision, while deep ice-pick scars may respond better to chemical reconstruction or resurfacing. Some scars benefit from fractional laser, RF microneedling, or a carefully planned combination.
Dr. Leigh will identify your scar pattern and explain whether Rejuran S is likely to add meaningful value.
When will I see results?
Temporary swelling can initially make a scar appear shallower, but this should not be mistaken for the final outcome.
True textural improvement, when achieved, develops more gradually over the following weeks and months. Results depend on scar type, depth, age, surrounding skin quality, treatment plan, and individual healing response.
Rejuran S cannot guarantee complete scar removal.
How many sessions will I need?
A course commonly involves approximately three sessions separated by several weeks. Dr. Leigh may adjust the number, timing, or combination of treatments according to the scars being addressed and how your skin responds.
Is there downtime?
Localized swelling, firmness, redness, tenderness, bruising, or small bumps may occur. Some treated areas can remain swollen or feel uneven for several days.
Avoid pressing or manipulating the treated scars unless Dr. Leigh specifically advises it.
Why does Dr. Leigh’s technique matter?
Treating acne scars requires more than placing product beneath every indentation. Dr. Leigh must distinguish scars that can benefit from targeted polynucleotides from those that remain physically tethered or require another modality.
Precise placement also matters because excessive or inappropriate treatment may create prolonged swelling, unevenness, nodules, or an unsatisfactory result.
The aim is not to erase your skin’s history overnight.
