When managing your weight begins to feel like a constant fight, “try harder” is not always the answer.
Hunger, fullness, blood-sugar regulation, medications, sleep, hormones, and other health factors can all influence weight. When biology is working against you, even your most disciplined efforts may feel difficult to sustain.
Adarna is developing a doctor-led Mounjaro® program for medically suitable adults who need structured support for their weight and metabolic health.
This is not a shortcut, a casual slimming injection, or a promise to reach a certain size. It is a prescription-based medical program designed around your health, your response, and what can be managed safely under Dr. Leigh’s supervision.
What is Mounjaro®?
Mounjaro® contains tirzepatide, a once-weekly prescription injection that acts on two naturally occurring hormone pathways: GIP and GLP-1.
These pathways are involved in appetite, fullness, digestion, insulin release, and blood-sugar regulation. For an appropriate patient, tirzepatide may help reduce hunger, support earlier and longer-lasting fullness, improve glucose control, and make a sustainable calorie reduction feel more manageable.
It is not a stimulant, a fat-dissolving injection, or a replacement for nutrition, movement, sleep, and long-term health habits.
This program may be suitable if you:
-
Are living with obesity or are overweight with weight-related health concerns
-
Have found it difficult to achieve or maintain meaningful progress through lifestyle changes alone
-
Want a medically supervised approach rather than an unsupervised injection plan
-
Are willing to attend follow-ups and complete laboratory tests when medically indicated
-
Understand that results develop gradually and vary from one patient to another
Eligibility cannot be determined by appearance or a preferred number on the scale alone. Dr. Leigh will assess your medical history, current medications, weight pattern, metabolic health, and personal risks before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.
Why does Dr. Leigh’s supervision matter?
Safe treatment involves much more than prescribing an injection.
Dr. Leigh will determine whether tirzepatide is appropriate, review possible medication interactions and contraindications, guide treatment progression, monitor side effects, and assess whether the benefits continue to outweigh the risks.
Medical supervision also helps protect against overly rapid weight loss, dehydration, inadequate nutrition, and unnecessary loss of muscle. Your plan may include guidance on protein intake, resistance exercise, sleep, and other habits that support healthier body composition and long-term maintenance.
What side effects can occur?
The most commonly reported side effects are gastrointestinal and may include:
-
Nausea
-
Diarrhea or constipation
-
Vomiting
-
Abdominal discomfort or indigestion
-
Reduced appetite
These effects are often more noticeable while the body is adjusting, but they can sometimes become severe. Contact Adarna promptly if you experience persistent vomiting, difficulty keeping fluids down, or severe gastrointestinal symptoms.
Program status and pricing
Adarna’s Mounjaro® Medical Weight and Metabolic Health Program is currently under development.
The final treatment protocol, monitoring schedule, program inclusions, and investment will be discussed and priced upon consultation. No treatment will begin until Dr. Leigh has completed your assessment, confirmed your medical suitability, and discussed the expected benefits, limitations, risks, and alternatives with you.
This is not about becoming smaller at any cost.
It is about feeling less controlled by hunger, understanding what your body needs, and building a medically responsible path toward better health—without shame, pressure, or unrealistic promises.
